My experience at Hotel Galla Placidia was disappointing. The automated check-in process led to confusion as I struggled to find the entrance, which was poorly marked. The air conditioning unit was distractingly loud throughout my stay, making it hard to relax in the otherwise cozy atmosphere. While the rooms were clean, the lack of soundproofing meant I frequently heard noise from the courtyard, which was quite frustrating.

The room's square footage is grossly overestimated—claimed to be 22m² but feels more like 16m². There's no door on the bathroom, which lacks privacy, and the water pressure leads to overflow issues. The air conditioning unit is distractingly loud, and soundproofing leaves much to be desired, with noise from the courtyard and street seeping in. no locking mechanism exists to secure the room from the outside, leaving valuables exposed.

staying at galla placidia was great! it’s super close to the sncf train station and the historic town center. the electronic check-in was easy since we arrived late. our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had a wonderful selection. the friendly hosts made our stay even better!

Stayed for one night and loved how close everything was, just a short walk to landmarks like Eglise Saint-Sebastien and the Canal de la Robine, and the clean, comfortable rooms made my stay even better. I would definitely return when I can enjoy the rooftop terrace!

The owner, Julie was extremely helpful and made check-in a breeze! I especially enjoyed having a lovely outdoor space with a patio right outside the room—perfect for enjoying my morning coffee.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable, given the amenities.
